Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri (Kannada: ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಕಾಗೇರಿ; born 10 July 1961 Sirsi, Karnataka) is a four-time Bharatiya Janata Party MLA and minister for primary and secondary education in the Government of Karnataka.[1][2] He represented the Ankola Vidhan Sabha constituency for 3 terms: 1994-99, 1999-04 and 2004-2007 . After the delimitation process was carried out, he shifted to the newly created Sirsi Constituency. He completed his B.Com from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He was a ABVP office bearer right from his student days.[3]
